Quick Moon Bingo Summary
Moon Bingo is one of the longest-running bingo sites on the world wide web, having been around since 2009. It has long been thought of as one of the best, but have other, newer sites overtaken it?
Find out with our exclusive Moon Bingo review.
Gamifications & VIP Program
The moon is a barren and lifeless place, and Moon Bingo is a barren and lifeless place when it comes to any kind of gamification factor or VIP program. We couldn’t find anything of that ilk, and indeed Moon Bingo seems to have suspended its promotions program altogether!
We found a couple of ‘incentives’. One was the news that you receive a varied amount of coins each day at the site to spend on bingo, or you could receive a spin on the Daily Chipper Wheel.
Software & Games
- Number of software providers: 16
- Number of bingo games: 3
- Number of bingo rooms: 23
There are only three types of bingo at Moon Bingo. The vast majority of the bingo rooms host 90-ball bingo, while a few others host 75-ball bingo. There are two 52-ball bingo rooms. In one of them playing cards are used as opposed to bingo balls, and in the other the spin of a roulette wheel chooses those lucky numbers.
Moon Bingo is actually one of the longest-running sites on the Dragonfish network and over time has collected a massive number of slots and casino games from top providers like NetEnt. They are all available to play as side games via the bingo client.
Casino & Slots
- Types of games: Video slots, casino games, live casino games, instant win games.
- Games: 5-reel slots, jackpot slots, roulette, keno, blackjack, video poker, casino poker, baccarat, scratch cards.
Depositing & Cashing Out
Hit up the cashier here and you will find that you can make deposits via a Visa debit card, PayPal or Paysafecard. The minimum accepted deposit is £5, and any deposit you make should be available to spend immediately.
You can cash out to a card or PayPal, or via a bank transfer. You can withdrawal any amount up to your account balance, although withdrawals less than £5 have to be requested via email.
Withdrawal times are standard for a Dragonfish site. It’s up to three days for an eWallet and up to five days for a card or bank transfer. We think such times could be accelerated.
At least there are no fees for either depositing or withdrawing.
Moon Bingo Social
As part of a site on the Dragonfish network you are always guaranteed never to be alone when you are playing bingo here. Moon Bingo shares its bingo clientele with players on the same network. This leads to bingo rooms literally crammed full of players.
There are chat moderators in each chat room who make sure that people are nice to each other at all times and entertain with jokes and quizzes.
As a bonus, Moon Bingo has a live casino too.
Moon Bingo is very active on Facebook, but there’s nothing from it on Twitter.
Moon Bingo Mobile
There is still a Moon Bingo app, but it is for Moon Bingo UK players with iOS-powered devices only and is available from the AppStore. There’s no equivalent Moon Bingo app at GooglePlay for Android users.
Android users need not despair, though. They can simply open their browser and navigate to the site on their Android-powered device. The software will configure itself to the device in question, and all bingo games and slots are available.
Apple device users can choose this route too if they so wish, negating the need to download the Moon Bingo app. The Moon Bingo mobile site does work pretty well.
Our Final Thoughts on Moon Bingo
Five years ago we would have been over the moon with Moon Bingo. However, times have moved on and Moon Bingo seems a little … static. That’s not to say the site is poor, as it certainly is not. It’s a bit like Manchester United, once dominant but now not as good as once was.
The site though does score highly for the number of slots and casino games available, including live casino games. Why not undertake your own lunar mission to Moon Bingo?
