Eating bugs, taking a bath with rats, and finding somewhere to have a wee without stepping on a snake is usually part and parcel of a contestant’s job on ITV’s I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here.
While we’re lucky enough to be able to watch our favourite celebs squirm at the Bushtucker trials from the comfort and warmth of home, some of the nation’s most famous faces are gearing up to take part in a very different series of I’m a Celeb.
This year’s series will be filmed at Gwrych Castle in Wales, just after the 2-week Welsh lockdown comes to an end. This means the celebs are more likely to be stepping in cow dung and being bitten by midges not snakes!
If the rumours are true, just some of the celebrities who could be bedding down the night in the cold surroundings of the 200-year-old castle include Strictly’s AJ Pritchard, Selling Sunset’s Christine Quinn, comedian Jason Manford, Eastenders’ Jessica Plumber, presenter Vernon Kay, funny man Shane Ritchie, and athlete Mo Farah.
To keep you on the edge of your seat throughout the new series, ITV has enlisted the help of a sponsor.
Tombola Arcade’s I’m a Celeb ads are already being shown on TV, and they’re hoping to gain your attention with an innovative campaign that was designed by Tombola’s creative agency, Uber.
The promotional ads perfectly capture the fun and upbeat essence of Tombola Arcade as well as the show’s style and spirit with a cast of 7 CGI jungle bug characters, including Ant, Roach, Grub, Scorps, and Dungy. There are a total of six ads to look out for, with each one developing the characters’ storylines further.
I’m a Celebrity airs from 15th November. So, as well as staying glued to your TV screen, make sure that you also take a trip to Tombola Arcade to check out its latest I’m a Celeb themed special offers and events.
