Since the first Slingo game launched back in 1996, giving us an exciting hybrid of bingo and slot gameplay, the company Gaming Realms has continued to build on its success and develop more thrilling titles that players around the globe can’t get enough of.
Gaming Realms has already produced several Slingo titles that are based on some of our favourite slots and TV shows such as Slingo Rainbow Riches and Deal or No Deal Slingo, and now it’s set to hit new heights thanks to a new agreement with the Swedish software manufacturer, NetEnt.
As of early next year, Gaming Realms’ first NetEnt-Slingo offering will be released to the global gaming market using one of the most popular slot titles of all time.
Slingo Starburst is, of course, based on the hugely popular NetEnt slot, Starburst, and its promises to “bring together the best features of both brands” according to Mark Segal, Gaming Realms’ Chief Financial Officer.
The game will use the familiar Slingo grid mechanic as well as “all the classic features of the hit slot game”. The latter, we assume, refers to the Starburst Wilds that can expand and give players up to 3 re-spins with wild reels, as well as the deep space theme.
As we posted recently, Gaming Realms has also been working with another popular software developer – Eyecon – to create a Slingo version of the Fluffy Favourites slot. Slingo Fluffy Favourites is expected to launch on Wednesday, 28th October 2020.
NetEnt has been keeping pretty busy too with a host of new games set for recent during Autumn/Winter 2020.
Vegas Night Life and Dark King: Forbidden Riches are launching imminently while Parthenon, Divine Fortune Megaways, and Twin Spin Megaways are expected to make their debut in November. Plus, NetEnt fans should receive an early Christmas present this year in the form of December’s Riches of Midgard: Land and Expand slot.
