At the beginning of last week, the owners of Crown Bingo announced via the brand’s website and social media pages that it would be taking some time out.
As is fairly common practice in the online gambling industry, many casinos and bingo sites take the decision to make both technical and graphical updates every few years. Sometimes, the makeovers are purely aesthetic while others aim to deliver an improved playing experience to members. And, it’s even been known for brands to switch from one software platform to another.
In the case of Crown Bingo, which is owned by LeoVegas, the software platform has changed from the popular Virtue Fusion (Playtech) variety to a bespoke offering from LeoVegas.
Before, the site hosted network-wide Virtue Fusion promotions and rooms such as Deal or No Deal 90 and Rainbow Riches Bingo. It also had two exclusive rooms called Room 1 and Room 2. Plus, it featured an exciting room called Bingo Studio Live where the games were hosted by live presenters.
As of late last week, the lobby at Crown Bingo has altered significantly. The current offerings include five 90-ball rooms – Room 1, Mum’s the Word, Heavy Weight, Eggventure, and Bargain Bingo, the 80-Ball Bingo Room, the 75-Ball Bingo Room, and the Newbie Room. There’s also a pre-buy facility.
The promotions have all changed too. There’s now a brand-new welcome offer that invites first-time depositors (who also meet the minimum stake requirements) free entry to the Newbie Room, where they can enjoy four hours of daily bingo with cash prize pools worth £350 for a full week.
Other treats include 100 free tickets to use in the Bargain Bingo room, wager-free spins, seasonal specials, nightly £600 jackpot games, community jackpot games, progressive jackpot games, and plenty of chat games that are free to take part in.
