Playtech has just secured a new 5-year deal with the owner of Mecca Bingo that will allow it to further strengthen its relationship and potential profits with the addition of another two online bingo brands.
The Rank Group already had a deal in place that allowed Playtech to exclusively supply its biggest brand, Mecca Bingo, with its online bingo software. However, since Rank took over Stride Gaming’s two bingo brands in the autumn of last year, the Playtech platform will also be used by Kitty Bingo and Lucky Pants Bingo.
As those of you who are familiar with sites like Betfair Bingo, Bet365 Bingo or Mecca will know, Playtech’s software is a player’s delight as it delivers a fantastic selection of bingo games that range from traditional 90-ball and 75-ball and speed games to exclusively developed variants like Cash Cubes, Deal or No Deal Bingo, and Rainbow Riches Bingo.
Playtech’s agreement with The Rank Group also means that the Group’s two newly acquired brands, Lucky Pants Bingo and Kitty Bingo, will also get to benefit from some of the software developer’s top slots like Age of the Gods – King of Olympus, Ace Ventura, Frankie Dettori’s Magic 7, Desert Treasure, Great Blue, Land of Gold, and Justice League.
Rank is hopeful that the extension to its existing partnership with Playtech will help it continue “exceeding the expectations of our customers” while Playtech is looking forward to “continuing to build on [its] partnership over the next five years”.
Kitty Bingo and Lucky Pants Bingo were, up until October 2019, owned by the Jersey-based online gambling group, Stride Gaming. However, after The Rank Group acquired them via a £115.3m takeover, both sites continued to run on the Daub software platform. Lucky Pants has already migrated to the new Playtech platform with Kitty expected to follow shortly.
