Eyecon

If there is one thing that everyone who plays at online casino, slots and bingo sites knows, it’s that Eyecon are behind one of the most popular online slots of all-time, Fluffy Favourites. The success of Fluffy Favourites is hard to pin down, as it is a very basic slots game. Perhaps it is the ‘cute and cuddly’ factor that has made the game such a success.

Fluffy Favourites has been so successful in fact that it has even spawned sequels and side games. The first slots sequel was called ‘Fluffy Too’ and was released in 2017 and other titles in the range include Fluffy in Space and Fluffy Fairground.

Eyecon games are very popular at bingo sites. All sites that run on the 888/Dragonfish platform or the VirtueFusion or Jumpman Gaming bingo platforms will have all of Eyecup’s titles. Some sites also have the bespoke Fluffy Bingo game.

Who Is Eyecon?

There is actually more to Eyecon than Fluffy Favourites and its companion titles, although that is hard to believe. The company has a decent portfolio of slots games and one or two casino titles too.

When Eyecon started up in 1997 in Brisbane, Australia, they had no idea that they would be so successful in the online casino realm as that was not particularly the niche they were aiming for. They began by making computer games and released ‘Gore: Ultimate Soldier’ which was a first-person shooter game that gained mixed reviews.

Despite this setback Eyecon decided to battle on, moving more towards the online casino side of things. They developed their first slot in 2003, which was called Temple of Isis and which is still available today.

In 2006 they really got lucky when they released Fluffy Favourites. Whether it was the simplistic, undemanding gameplay or the array of cuddly elephants, lions and panda bears that made Fluffy Favourites such a hit, nobody really knows.

Eyecon have now gone on to release over sixty slots and casino games. You may not be successful at locating Eyecon games at online casinos, but at online bingo sites they are virtually ubiquitous.

The main body of work from Eyecon takes place in the company’s main headquarters in St. Peter Port, Guernsey. The company also has a gaming studio in Brisbane, Australia.

All of Eyecon’s titles come licensed by the Alderney Gambling Control Board, the Malta Gaming Authority and the UK Gambling Commission.

What’s Hot and Not About Eyecon

Eyecon’s most popular games: Fluffy Favourites, Stampede, Temple of Ausar, Rebets Splendour, Lost Island, Double Up Ducks, Puggy Payout, Fae Legend Warrior, Sands of Fortune, Shopping Spree.

Pros:

  • You can get Fluffy! To be honest, who isn’t charmed by the cute critters that roll around the reels when it comes to Fluffy Favourites. Gameplay is very simple indeed, so if you prefer easy-to-play slots as opposed to all-singing ones with all kinds of side features, then Fluffy Favourites is the game for you!
  • You can really get Fluffy! As well as Fluffy Favourites, there’s the sequels too. Fluffy Two is simply more of the same, but Fluffy Fairground has side games based on pastimes you’d find at a local fair. Fluffy in Space is really out-of-this world, as those cute critters lift off into the stratosphere.
  • Bingo available too. All Eyecon games are available at bingo sites, you can indulge your bingo side in between games of any Fluffy title.

Cons:

  • Not available at many online casino sites. It’s a real oddity that Eyecon titles are not available at more online casino sites, while you are likely to find Fluffy Favourites (at the least) at every single online bingo site available. Maybe that has something to do with Eyecon’s partnerships with 888 Holdings (Dragonfish), Virtue Fusion and Jumpman Gaming, all of whom concentrate more on bingo sites than casino sites. If you are itching to climb aboard the Fluffy bandwagon, then you are going to have to join a bingo site in order to play the Fluffy range of titles and a handful of other games.

Our Final Thoughts

There is much more to Eyecon than Fluffy Favourites … but just how much more? Eyecon now has plenty of non-Fluffy alternatives, so if you do get annoyed by the ubiquitous nature of Eyecon’s cuddly mascots, then you’ve plenty of other choices. It’s good to see that Eyecon haven’t simply gone down the route of releasing dozens of Fluffy-related titles just yet. Who knows, perhaps the Eyecon Fluffy shared universe will be to online bingo and casino sites what the Marvel shared universe is to movies!

Why not find an online casino or (as is more likely) an online bingo site with Eyecon’s titles and see for yourself?
