As one of Britain’s biggest and most popular online bingo sites, tombola has always led the way with innovative bingo games, unique promotions, and player engagement.
Lately, however, the site has been hosting more competitions and special events than ever before to the extent that some members might be struggling to keep up with what’s going on. Therefore, the operator has created a dedicated Community Hub area that makes it easy to keep track of tombola’s social calendar and it also includes tips from some of the site’s chat hosts.
The current theme of the Community Hub is “Healthy and Happy”, which is how tombola wants its players to feel during the current COVID-19 lockdown.
The Healthy and Happy Project is led by the site’s own chat hosts. It aims to fill everyone’s day with fun by inviting members to take part in everything from pub quizzes and tournaments to special chat games and sing-a-longs in the chat rooms.
There’s also an invitation to players to submit any ideas that they have for improvements. If anyone needs advice on playing responsibly, they are welcome to get in touch with the CMs, as well as read the Safeplay advice at the bottom of the Community Hub page.
Some of the current highlights on the Hub include a pub quiz with a general knowledge theme and a £20 Amazon voucher prize, an Ultimate Players Tournament which will crown its winner with a delicious chocolate hamper (N.B., the final’s due to take place on 13th July), and visits from special guests in the chat rooms.
Tombola launched in 1999, and it uses a bespoke software platform that hosts a variety of unique games such as Picture Bingo, Morph, Roller-Coaster, Bingo 60, Hamster Race, Blocks, The Machine, Cinco, and Pulse. It also has a sister site called Tombola Arcade.
